About me
I am an Afro-Latina artist living in Peoria, Arizona. I have graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s in Art in May 2017, my major being Media Arts. I have an interest in and create digital illustration, programming, animation, games, and interactive inclusive experiences and creations. I first became interested in illustration during high school and sought out how to integrate my illustrations digitally and learn about interactivity.
I hold a strong belief that art and other media should be inclusive in that they are made so that anyone can understand them and participate without language or knowledge holding people back. I believe that art, including my own, is meant to be shared on a platform people can access easily and understand on their own terms, without specific academic qualifications needed beforehand.
As a teenager, I began playing video games. I fell in love with the fandom and the community that video games built. I really enjoyed being part of the following and was inspired to get involved with concept design and graphic design because it combines my passion for art and my love of the video game community. I want to use my art to illustrate worlds that are going to draw the player into the story and be part of the gaming fandom.
